Refund Policy

Sistren Haven is committed to providing quality services in a respectful, consistent, and professional manner. To ensure fairness and accountability for both the provider and the participant, the following refund policies apply to all service areas:

1. Individual Therapy Payment:

 

Payment is due at the time of service unless covered by an accepted insurance plan. Cancellations: Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a session. Refunds: No refunds will be issued for missed appointments or same-day cancellations. Late Arrivals: Sessions will end at the scheduled time. Late arrivals will not receive extended time or a partial refund.

2. Group Therapy Registration Fees:

Group therapy registration fees are non-refundable once paid, unless the group is cancelled by the provider. Missed Sessions: Refunds are not issued for missed group sessions, regardless of reason. Withdrawal: If a participant withdraws after the group has started, no refund will be given for remaining sessions. Cancellation by Sistren Haven: If a group is canceled due to low enrollment or facilitator illness, a full refund or credit will be issued.

3. LMSW Supervision Prepayment:

 

Supervision sessions may be paid per session or in advance as a package. Cancellations: A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel supervision without penalty. Refunds: No refunds will be issued for missed or late-cancelled supervision sessions. Refunds for pre-paid packages will only be issued for unused sessions if Sistren Haven is unable to fulfill the service. Documentation: Verification of supervision hours will only be provided for completed, paid sessions.

4. Study Prep Sessions Payment:

 

Payment is required to secure your spot in any study prep session or package. Cancellations & No-Shows: Study prep sessions are non-refundable. Participants who miss a session will not be issued a refund or credit. Rescheduling: One reschedule per participant may be allowed with 24-hour notice, depending on availability. Course Material: Any digital materials provided during study prep are non-refundable once delivered, regardless of session attendance.

5. Emergencies:

While we understand that emergencies happen, refunds will not be guaranteed. Requests for special consideration must be submitted in writing to sistrenhaven@gmail.com and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
